Victoria Holland – MHFA Workplace Lead and Trainer
I became increasingly interested in mental health after realising how common mental ill health is and the amount of people that are impacted. I initially undertook a ‘Mental Health Awareness’ and ‘Suicide Prevention’ course as part of being involved in a charity. I have worked as a qualified teacher for fourteen years and after being involved in one of the most stressful professions (National Foundation for Education Research) I was able to see first-hand the need for prioritising and investing in mental health in the work place.
